This morning, after going to bed at two am, we got up at 7:30 to see off John's parents, they went off to Coombs for a meeting. Around ten, we left home and walked (yes, walked) downtown, the long way along the water front, and got to McDonald's at 12:30 and had food. Then, also the long way, stopping for duck feed, we went through Beacon Hill Park. We fed the ducks (Devon had a blast), stopped at the park, then took the long way to Clover Point. After that, Devon decided he was going to start calling me mommy for good. I couldn't and can't stop grinning. So then we took the (You guessed it) long way (Through Fisherman's Wharf) to the Breakwater. Did that, Came back, and went all the way up Dallas Road to Downtown, and went through the Inner Harbor. We spotted this falconer lady and found out that for five bucks (Yes, only five) I could have a photo of me with a hawk. (STILL can't believe that!!!!!) so I paid ten for a large picture (thus sacrificing my dinner money...) and they even let us go nuts with MY camera and let John hold the Falcon. It was the most awesome thing ever to have such a powerful thing on my arm. Once we were done that, we finally headed up into town, waited for the bus, walked from Fairways, got in, and crashed. We walked a good 20-25k....I am tiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiired.
